If you would like a round or two of golf on a beautiful 18 Hole course
by the sea, only 25 minutes drive from the Trullo, then we recommend this
club. You do need to have a handicap card to play on the course.

A warm and friendly restaurant serving some beautiful Pugliese home-cooking. The atmosphere is wonderful, with a real welcoming from the family who own the restaurant. Peruse the menu or ask for other favourite dishes to see how they can help.
A MUST visit. View directions to the restaurant.
Il Guercio di PugliaA Tardis of a building on the bottom road of Alberobello. You walk through a small door into a wonderful arched stone building, with high ceilings and colourful curtains in the simple style of the Pugliese. The ‘pasta-forno’ (or lasagne) is wonderful here.
L'Olmo BelloFor an outside experience try this lovely spot one evening. Nice ambient lighting and landscaped garden, including a fishpond and the peaceful sound of running water. For cooler evenings, they have a nicely built wood conservatory with open views. The main part of the restaurant offers Trullo style dining, with nooks and crannies galore to find your perfect table. The food is good, with great ‘antipasti caldo’ to get your mouth watering.
Main Bar in AlberobelloWe highly recommend this modern designed Bar-come-restaurant in the main Piazza of Alberobello. It is the place to sit and watch the world go by in the tranquil, yet full of life centre of town. Enjoy some of their hot snacks, olives and savouries, washed down with a nice bottle of wine. They have an extensive wine list at great prices and an amazing array of Tea to choose from, with their very own menu believe it or not! Or have dinner, as they serve good food, if you don’t mind a livelier choice of surroundings, both outside in the piazza itself and downstairs in the modern, yet centuries old, restaurant area.
Service stations tend to close one day a week. There are self service stations available where you can use money. Easily found on the main road of Alberobello, heading towards Bari and Monopoli.
When getting petrol for the Airport run, you will find plenty of service stations on the motorway. You don’t need to get out of the car, opening the window and simply saying ‘Pieno’ (full) will suffice to get the Italians to fill the tank.
The banks are open most mornings. There are two main banks in Alberobello off the main Piazza. Both have cash/ATM machines, and they can change traveller’s cheques.
